(9/06/06 - KTRK/HOUSTON) (KTRK) -- A bat found in northeast Harris County has tested positive for rabies.
The Harris County health department says the bat was found near the beltway and the Eastex Freeway. Officials are telling residents in the area about the find.
There were no known human exposures to the bat. Two dogs may have been exposed and they are being treated.
