Search ends for man missing after hunting trip

(11/03/06 - KTRK/SANTA FE, TX) (KTRK) -- The search has ended for a Santa Fe man missing in Colorado.

On Friday, authorities called off the search for 56-year-old Walter Benskin. He went missing last week on a hunting trip near Ripple Creek Pass in Colorado. Benskin disappeared before a snowstorm hit the area. He has had some survival training, but did not have the right gear to deal with the snow storm.

Texas Equusearch volunteers headed to the area, but couldn't find Benskin.
