(11/27/06 - KTRK/HOUSTON) (KTRK) -- Texas Southern University has a new interim president as of Monday evening.
In a special meeting, the TSU Board of Regents chose retired Air Force Brigadier General James T. Boddie Jr., to become the next TSU president.
Boddie replaces Priscilla Slade who was fired over a scandal involving the misuse of university funds.
