Pasadena fire station suffers damage from fire engine accident

Wednesday, February 21, 2007

Cleanup is underway at a Pasadena fire station after a fire truck crashed through the front of the building on Red Bluff at Southmore.

According to spokesperson Vance Mitchell, a firefighter was backing the fire engine into the building when he hit the garage door. Mitchell adds this fire station is older and modern fire engines are much larger than what the building was designed for.

There are no reports of any injuries or what will happen to the firefighter.
