Man walks west for the homeless

Saturday, March 24, 2007

A recent Prairie View A&M University graduate is pounding the pavement to Los Angeles to raise your awareness about the plight of homeless people.

Noah Rattler walked out of downtown Houston this morning on an 1,800 mile trip to LA.

Rattler decided to walk halfway across the country to draw attention to homeless people after volunteering at SEARCH. That's a Houston charity that helps the homeless get off the streets and into jobs and affordable housing.

Rattler plans to arrive in Los Angeles at the end of June.
