(4/14/07 - KTRK/HOUSTON) (KTRK) -- A northwest Harris County man answered his door only to be shot in the face.
The shooting happened at the Vineyard Place Apartments on Kuykendahl and Bammel around midnight. Investigators say the victim answered a knock at his door. That's when someone shot him.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
Deputies have not made any arrests. Authorities are trying to find a motive behind the shooting.
