(5/06/07 - KTRK/HOUSTON) (KTRK) -- A driver couldn't stop in time to avoid a deadly crash in north Harris County overnight.
According to deputies, a pickup was backing out of a parking lot on Airline near Blue Bell when it pulled in front of an oncoming car. The car slammed into the driver's side of the pickup.
The men driving both vehicles died at the scene. Rescuers had to pry open each vehicle to pull out an injured passenger. The two injured passengers are in the hospital and expected to recover.
