Attorney says woman stuffed in dryer uncertain about who did it

Wednesday, May 23, 2007

A strange new twist occurred Wednesday in the case of a man accused of stuffing his ex-girlfriend in a dryer.

Adrian Williams is charged with aggravated kidnapping. He was arrested last month after deputies found Tiffany Boss in the dryer at her townhome in northwest Harris County. At the time, she told deputies that Williams did it, but his attorney now says she doesn't know who did it, or why.

"She's saying she doesn't even recall giving the cops a statement regarding who did it. She had a seizure when she was coming out of the dryer, so any information she was giving, I believe, was a little too spontaneous," defense attorney Marc Metze said.

Williams' attorney says they can prove he was at work all that day. On Wednesday, the judge granted a "no contact" order, even though the victim doesn't want it, because they have a child together.
