Toddler home alone with other kids found in swimming pool

(6/05/07 - KTRK/HOUSTON) (KTRK) -- A two-year-old child is at Texas Children's Hospital after being pulled from a backyard swimming pool in northeast Harris County this morning.

Investigators say the young child was in a house full of kids, but no parents were at home. There were reportedly six children with one 15-year-old babysitter. The children ranged in age from age 2 to age 10.

One of the older children found the two-year-old boy face down in the pool. The babysitter had reportedly stepped away to get a drink.

The parents have been located and notified.

There's no word on the child's condition at this time. An investigation is underway.
