(6/25/07 - KTRK/ANGLETON, TX) (KTRK) -- A modern-day cattle rustler from Angleton is headed to jail for five years.
Jerome Novak pleaded guilty Monday to stealing cattle in Fort Bend County. He also faces charges for stealing 47 head of cattle from Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan.
Authorities say Novak has also confessed to stealing 289 head of cattle from eight Texas counties.
