(7/01/07 - KTRK/GALVESTON, TX) (KTRK) -- The last few pieces of the Galveston Causeway have almost disappeared.
Sunday demolition crews blew up part of the northbound causeway bridge and two pieces of the southbound bridge. TxDOT will need one or two more explosions to complete the demolition.
The Coast Guard also had crews with nets picking up fish and other marine life killed by the explosives.
