New information on police officer's wrong way crash

Tuesday, September 04, 2007

We've learned more about a weekend crash involving a Houston police officer.

Investigators say Officer Brent Foltz was not responding to a call when he drove the wrong way on Greenbriar. The officer was hit by a vehicle, which caused him to hit two other cars.

Investigators tell us there were no signs that Foltz was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. They also don't believe fatigue was a factor.

The accident is still under investigation. We're told the police chief ultimately decides on any punishment.
