Classes cancelled due to Humberto

(9/13/07) (KTRK) -- The following campuses have cancelled or delayed classes due to Tropical Storm Humberto:

These are the latest Houston area school closings brought to you by Eyewitness News and abc13.com.

  • Dayton ISD has cancelled classes for today
  • West Hardin ISD has cancelled classes for today
  • Hardin ISD has cancelled classes for today
  • High Island ISD has cancelled classes for today
  • Barber's Hill ISD delaying classes by two hours, however faculty and staff should report at the regular time
  • Galveston ISD: Crenshaw Elementary and Middle School, formerly known as Bolivar School, will be closed today due to power outages. No GISD buses will be running on Bolivar Peninsula.
  • Family Christian Academy is closed today
  • Goose Creek ISD is delayed by two hours, but dismissal at regular time
  • East Chambers ISD was originally opening at 10am, now closed all day
  • TSU opens at noon today
  • U of H opens at noon today
  • San Jacinto College opens at noon today
  • Westwood College-Houston South: morning classes cancelled today
  • Lee College is closed until noon today, including classes held at the San Jacinto Mall, in Crosby, Huffman and Liberty
  • Brazosport College opens at noon today
