(10/02/07 - KTRK/COLLEGE STATION, TX) (KTRK) -- Two students at Texas A&M are hospitalized with bacterial meningitis
The students are suffering from some of the symptoms -- which include high fever, headache and stiff neck. The university is offering free treatment for anyone who came into close contact with the infected students.
Bacterial meningitis is transmitted only through close intimate contact.
