Starbucks employees held up at gunpoint in late night robbery

Thursday, October 25, 2007

A pair of suspects are wanted for robbing a Starbucks coffee shop late one night.

On Thursday, August 30, 2007, at approximately 11:30pm, two Hispanic males approached an employee outside the Starbucks at 5118 Fairmont Parkway and asked if the business was still open. When the employee said it was not, one of the men ordered the employee back into the store at gunpoint.

The suspects demanded gloves from the employees and then demanded money from the store safe. Once they had the money, they fled on foot through the back door of the store. There was no vehicle seen in the area where the suspects fled.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and charging of any suspect in this case. If you have any information regarding this case, please contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
