(10/29/07 - KTRK/HOUSTON) (KTRK) -- A passenger on an American Airlines flight that was diverted to Houston because of an unruly passenger says he was given the boot for helping out.
It happened Saturday when a flight attendant confronted a woman about using her cell phone. Jesse Fore says the woman became hysterical and tried to open the emergency door in mid-flight. Fore helped subdue the woman.
"I mentioned something to the stewardess, 'If you wouldn't have put your hands on her, she probably wouldn't have freaked out,'" said Fore.
Fore says that statement got him kicked off the plane. He had to drive from Houston to his destination in Dallas.
