(11/25/07 - KTRK/HOUSTON) (KTRK) -- Police are investigating a home invasion and kidnapping in southwest Houston.
Police say four men burst into a home on Dashwood at Rampart last night. They kidnapped a 33-year-old woman from the home and then got away in an early 90s Jeep Cherokee.
They apparently were in communication with the woman's family, demanding money for her return. The woman had a phone and managed to call police.
A short time later, the kidnappers dropped the woman on Kirkville at Grandbrook in southeast Harris County. She was not hurt. Officers are still looking for the kidnappers and the Jeep Cherokee.
