Five injured after suspect runs from cops

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Saturday morning officers were involved in chase.

They were after a guy wanted for ripping off several stores at gunpoint over the holidays. Police had tried to stop him off Wayside but he sped away. He ended up crashing into a car on Franklin and Chartres near downtown.

Four people in the other car had to go to the hospital. The suspect was also sent to the hospital.
