Two months after she went missing, a northwest Harris County teenager is back home.
Cindy Avelis was found alive Sunday night. She had been missing since the day before Halloween, when she left her home wearing only pajamas. Her family was extremely worried because the 19-year-old had the mental capacity of a seven-year-old.
Sheriff's deputies tell us Avelis was found at a restaurant in the Heights Sunday night, but exactly what she was doing there is still a mystery.
