Former councilmember carjacked

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A former Houston councilmember was the victim of a terrifying carjacking.

Former city of Houston councilmember Michael Berry was carjacked at knifepoint while leaving The Firehouse Saloon at 3598 Fountainview on the evening of December 23 at 1am. He was not injured during the crime.

Berry's 2005 Chevy Tahoe was recovered a few hours later at an apartment. The suspects are three Hispanic males. They remain on the loose. There are no other details at this time.
