Mother who left kids contacted

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) (KTRK) -- An update now on that local mother who left her six children home alone to go get married in Africa.

Child Protective Services says it has spoken to Shanell Mosely, 33. Her children were put in foster care after deputies found them in the home in northwest Harris County last week.

Mosely says she thought an aunt was caring for the children. She says she's now trying to fly back home.
