HOUSTON (KTRK) (KTRK) -- A truck and garage caught fire overnight on Houston's south side.
It happened on Rocky Springs at Almeda Plaza. When firefighters arrived the pickup was engulfed in flames and the attached garage was on fire. The fire was contained before it spread to the home.
The truck was a 2002 Ford F150. Some of those trucks were recalled due to a fuel system problem, which could cause the trucks to catch fire.
The owner says he had not taken the car in to see if it was affected by the recall.
