Driver nearly ends up in Buffalo Bayou

HOUSTON (KTRK) (KTRK) -- A man lost control of his car and nearly landed in Buffalo Bayou overnight.

The driver took a turn too fast on Allen Parkway near Taft, went across the median, across oncoming traffic and plunged down the embankment. The car became tangled in undergrowth before it reached the water.

The driver was not drunk or under the influence. He was ticketed, but not arrested.
