HOUSTON (KTRK) (KTRK) -- Houston has 3,000 new trees thanks to volunteers who rolled up their sleeves for Arbor Day.
Around 500 volunteers planted the trees in just four hours Saturday morning.
The trees are on the medians along North Shepherd near downtown.
