Man says deputies bullied him

KATY, TX (KTRK) -- Just a day after five Harris County citizens slapped the sheriff's office with a federal lawsuit another man comes forward saying he was bullied by two Harris County detectives.

Joe Burroughs says two investigators came to his Katy business looking for more videotape of a burglary which happened next door. We showed you surveillance video from that burglary Thursday at 10pm. In it, you see business owner Lloyd Henderson, one of the plaintiffs in the lawsuit, tackled by a deputy after he called to report the crime. Burroughs says he felt like the detectives were hoping he'd incriminate Henderson.

"It made me feel intimidated like I'd been pushed around and controlled and that I had no choice and I'm really in no way involved in this," Burroughs said.

Thursday the Harris County Sheriff's Office said the internal affairs investigation into this incident was complete. Friday they said they needed additional information.

We also have new information about one of the deputies at the center of the internal affairs investigation. According to the sheriff's office, Chacun Anderson is the deputy who tackled Lloyd Henderson in surveillance video. We've learned he was still in training when this happened.

Anderson started with the sheriff's office in 2003 as a detention officer, but moved to field officer last year. He has since completed his field training and is currently assigned to patrol.
