Jailer allegedly shoots strip club customer

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An off-duty Harris county jailer is not facing any charges after police say he shot a man in a fight.

It all started with a dispute at a strip club, where the victim was kicked out for arguing with two dancers over money. Police say he followed the women when they left in two cars, along with the off-duty jailer.

Police say the customer crashed his truck into one of the vehicles off the West Loop at Katy road. Then he drove toward the jailer, who opened fire.

The victim was hit in the head. He's in a hospital. The case is being sent to the grand jury.
