Final goodbyes to a life cut short

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A teenager who was killed as she got off her school bus will be laid to rest.

Friends and family gathered Saturday at Brookside Funeral Home in northwest Harris County for a viewing for 13-year-old Nicole Lalime. She died Tuesday when she was hit by a car. The suspected drunk driver remains behind bars charged with intoxication manslaughter.

Lalime's funeral will be at 3pm at Cy-Fair Christian Church.
