A Woodlands family is getting a crash course on what it means to have a full house. Last year Kelly and Bill Phillips celebrated the birth of their quintuplets.

The cycle from feeding to burping to diapering seems endless for every new parent. At the Phillips home the new baby routine takes on new meaning.

"We have two shifts a day, there is a 10am feeding and a 2pm feeding," said Kelly Phillips who is the mother of quintuplets.

Two shifts a day where friends and family help feed John, David, Kate, Becca and Ali To achieve this, the family converted the downstairs dining room into a nursery. Getting the two and a-half month old quintuplets all asleep at one time unusually only happens for a few precious hours at night. Still mom Kelly Phillips makes it all look surprisingly simple. She even finds time to write about it all on a blog.

"We've had over 1,000 hits a day most days and we've had 75 countries who have visited our site," she said. "And it has amazed me how many people have been interested in our family and in our life."

Phillips began blogging shortly after she and her husband, Bill, found out they were expecting quints. Through regular posts, she documented her body's amazing transformation.

"I set up the blog because there were so many friends and family who wanted updates," Phillips said.

Possibly the most important update came October 25 when the quints were born at 33 weeks. The babies were extremely healthy when they were born and all of them came home less than three weeks after their birth.

Big brother, 20-month-old Mark, welcomed his sisters and brothers home.

"We also try to make a point of getting alone time with Mark," she said.

Even though the babies were premature all of them are progressing well.

"Three of them have rolled over," Phillips said. "They are holding their heads up and smiling and that just melts my heart. When they look at me in the eyes and just smile so big."

By taking one day at a time Phillips expects a bright future. A future she'll share with thousands through regular updates on her blog. If you would like to keep up to date on the progress of the Phillips quintuplets, you can read the blog here.
