HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the man who robbed the BBVA Compass Bank, located at 9669 Katy Freeway in Hedwig Village, Texas, perhaps during his lunch hour today.
At approximately 11:30am, the robber entered the bank and immediately pulled out a silver semi-automatic handgun as he approached a teller. When he made it to the teller station, he demanded cash from the teller and then cocked his handgun. After receiving the cash, the robber exited the bank and was last seen leaving the area on foot. No one was physically hurt during the robbery. The bank's surveillance equipment captured a couple of pictures of the robber.
He is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 25-30, 5'7" 5'9" tall, and about 250-280 pounds. He wore dark sunglasses, a black baseball cap, a blue work shirt, and dark colored pants.
