Clint Black in town for fundraiser

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Katy native and country star Clint Black is in Houston to raise money for a cause that hits close to home.

Black will be hosting fundraising events, including an intimate concert Sunday night for the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. The foundation spreads awareness and raises money for research into brain developmental disorders.

Black's niece, Courtney, died of Rett Syndrome back in 2003. The foundation hopes to raise between $3 to $5 million.
