Man sought in teen's sex assault

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Crime Stoppers, investigators with the Webster Police Department and the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force are seeking the public's assistance in locating Anthony Terrell Jackson.

Officials say that on October 26, Jackson sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl. He allegedly took her to the Best Western located on W. Bay Area Blvd in Webster and held her there. Police say Jackson forced the girl to do things she did not want to do by threatening to hurt her. It appears he was grooming her to be a prostitute.

Eventually the teen was able to escape. Jackson also reportedly posted nude photos of the victim on the Internet in a classified section advertising escorts.

The Webster Police Department conducted an investigation and charged Jackson with sexual assault and promotion of child pornography. The 185th District Court issued warrants for his arrest. He is still believed to be in the Houston area.

Jackson is a 28-year-old black male. He is 5'10" tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and at the time of the incident, a thin beard.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the arrest of Anthony Terrell Jackson. Tips can also be sent by text message -- Text TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637). All tipsters remain anonymous.
