HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A veteran Houston police officer is dead, shot in Montgomery County Saturday morning.
Investigators say Francisco Lopez was found dead off Pruitt Road early Saturday morning. They say the gunshot wound appears to be self-inflicted, but they haven't said whether it was an accident or suicide.
Lopez was an 11 year veteran of HPD.
