Rail service interrupted today

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- If you use the METRO rail service for your commute, expect some delays this weekend.

There will be no rail service between the University of Houston downtown and Preston stations today and tomorrow because of track maintenance. There will be shuttle service instead. Trains stopped this morning. They will re-open at 3pm today.

Everything should be running on a normal schedule in time for your Monday morning commute.
