WALLER COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- The SPCA has seized 61 dogs from a Waller County breeder who apparently became overwhelmed.
According to the SPCA, the purebred Huskies, Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds were taken at the request of the owner, who said the cost of vaccinations and medical care became too much for him.
Vets with the SPCA will evaluate each dog to determine their health and then make placement decisions. The dogs photos will be posted on the Houston SPCA website as soon as they're available for adoption.
