Student reportedly approached by flasher

There's another warning for parents of students in Conroe ISD after a girl was approached by a flasher.

School district officials say an eighth grade girl who attends McCullough Junior High School reported an incident to a CISD police officer assigned to the school. She reported that while walking to school on the Creekwood bike path at approximately 8:20am she saw a man exposing himself near the Creekwood Condos and soccer field.

The student reported that the was white, in his mid 20's, was wearing a blue baseball cap and light blue sweater. The man ran past her twice without saying anything.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Department was notified. They are investigating the case, with the assistance of the Conroe ISD Police Department.

Another incident involving Conroe ISD students was reported on Thursday. A Caney Creek High School freshman reported a man tried to lure her into his vehicle.

Parents are reminded to discuss safety with their children. To report suspicious activity, contact both the Conroe ISD Police Department 936-539-0507 and the local law enforcement agency.
