Fundraisers for fallen officer, ARC being held today

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The ARC of Fort Bend County, an organization that helps people with mental and developmental disabilities, will be raising money in Richmond tonight.

Their fundraiser includes live and silent auctions, as well as a dinner and dance. Students from Fort Bend ISD will be helping out. It all happens at the George Ranch Historical Park on FM 762. The event starts at 6:30pm.

Fundraiser for fallen officer

Another fundraiser is going on today in Pasadena, where the community is turning out to support the family of a fallen officer. A fundraiser will be held from noon today until 10pm tonight to benefit the family of slain officer Jesse Hamilton. The event will include a golf tournament, motorcycle ride, BBQ, silent auction and live entertainment. If you'd like to attend, the event is being held at Campbell Hall and the Ross Kelley Rodeo Arena at the Pasadena Convention Center.
