Big honor for MIT student from Pearland

  

PEARLAND, TX (KTRK) -- A student from Pearland now has the prestigious title of Rhodes scholar.

Steven Mo is a senior at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he is majoring in biology. Thirty-two lucky college students from across the U.S.. have been selected as Rhodes scholars for 2010. The scholarships provide recipients the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Oxford in England for free.

Mo says he plans to work on his doctorate in bioengineering while in England.
