Anthony Brown died nine days after he was struck in a hit and run accident in Atascocita last month.
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriff's Office investigators and Crime Stoppers needs your help to find the person behind a deadly hit and run in Atascocita last month.
Back on October 20 at around 1:45pm, investigators say Anthony Brown was driving a Jeep Cherokee near the 6500 block of Atascocita Road. A grey four-door car, possibly a Toyota Matrix, pulled out of a driveway and onto the westbound lane.
The car pulled into Brown's path, causing him to travel into oncoming traffic. Investigators say when he tried to get back into his lane, he lost control and ended up hitting a tree and flipping his car.
Brown was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he died nine days later from his injuries.
If anyone witnessed the accident or if anyone has any information on the other car they are urged to call Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of the suspects in this case. Tips can also be sent by text messages. Text TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637). All tipsters remain anonymous.
