Missing 3-year-old boy found safe

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities have cancelled an Amber Alert for a missing three-year-old boy, who had been last seen yesterday afternoon.

An Amber Alert had been issued for Andrue Jankwitz, 3, who was last seen with 31-year-old Ricardo Erasmo Hale at around 3:30pm yesterday in the Sagemont area. Hale's two-year-old son, Nathneal Hale, is also believed to be with them. Authorities say Hale has a history of drug use.

The Amber Alert was cancelled shortly before 2pm, when police say Hale and the children were found safe in Houston's 3rd Ward area. They are being transported to the Harris County Sheriff's Department. No other information about their situation is immediately available, except that they were safely located.
