HOUSTON (KTRK) -- For the second year in a row, Go Tejano Day has set a new all-time Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo paid attendance record.
On Sunday, 74,222 fans watched musical acts Pesado and El Trono de Mexico perform at Reliant Stadium. That beats the previous record set last year on March 15, 2009, when 74,147 fans saw the Go Tejano Day performance featuring Ramon Ayala and Alacranes Musical. Both bands who performed Sunday are from Mexico and made their rodeo debuts this year.
