HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The medical records of hundreds of children in the Houston area may be at risk.
Texas Children's Hospital says a doctor's laptop was stolen in May. The password-protected computer contained names, birth dates and diagnoses for about 1,600 cardiology patients. The computer did not hold any financial or insurance information. The hospital says patient confidentiality is a top priority and it's implementing new security procedures to prevent another incident.
