Police say the driver who hit the woman failed a field sobriety test
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman died after being hit by a driver in southeast Houston.
It happened around 10:15pm last night on MLK and Browncroft. Investigators say the driver never hit the brakes for the woman and never stopped after hitting her.Three HPD units were parked at a gas station across the street at the time and saw what happened. They chased the suspect, and arrested him about 10 blocks from the site of the accident.
Officers say he failed a sobriety test.
