Zero tolerance littering law in La Marque takes effect

A zero tolerance littering crackdown took effect yesterday in La Marque. If you're caught, you won't just get a ticket and be on your way. Instead you'll be taken to jail and booked with a misdemeanor citation.

Litter bugs could face fines of nearly $300.
