MISSOURI CITY, TX (KTRK) -- A man is in custody, accused of holding his mother hostage in a standoff in Missouri City.

Investigators say the 50-year-old man got into a fight with his mother Saturday off Marcia Circle. She demanded he leave, and police say he pulled a shotgun on her.

The woman was able to get out of the house, but her son remained inside. Police surrounded the home and got the man to surrender.

No one was hurt.
