HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One of five people facing charges for a murder for hire plot involving a Bellaire socialite was sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role.

Richard Gutierrez, 32, pleaded guilty to solicitation of capital murder. Prosecutors say Michelle Gaiser tried to hire Gutierrez to kill Yvonne Stern, the wife of prominent Bellaire lawyer Jeffrey Stern with whom Gaiser was having an affair.

Yvonne Stern survived three different attempts on her life.
