World-famous Budweiser Clydesdales stop in town

KEMAH, TX (KTRK) -- The famous Budweiser Clydesdales are in town.

The Clydesdales will make an appearance on the Kemah Boardwalk today. Later this week, they will lead several parades during the Mardi Gras celebration in Galveston, which starts on Friday. They will be housed at the Galveston County Fairgrounds in Hitchcock.

Here is their schedule of appearances in the area:

• Wednesday, Feb. 23: Kemah Boardwalk from 11am to 1pm
• Thursday, Feb. 24: Pearland Town Center, Highway 288 and FM 518, from 3pm to 5pm
• Friday, Feb. 25: Leading the George Mitchell parade in Galveston, 7pm
• Saturday, Feb. 26: Leading the Krewe of Gambrinus Parade in Galveston, 6pm
