Albert Turner is on trial for capital murder, accused of killing his wife and mother-in-law
RICHMOND, TX (KTRK) -- In Richmond, opening statements continue in the capital murder trial of a former prison guard accused of killing his wife and mother-in-law.
Police accuse Albert Turner of stabbing to death his wife, Keitha Turner, and her mother, Betty Jo Frank, on Christmas Eve 2009. Turned pleaded not guilty to the murders. Turner was on the run for a few months before his photo appeared on the TV show 'Live with Regis and Kelly.' A viewer called in a tip that led to Turner's arrest in North Carolina.
