Fire burning at pipe yard in Channelview

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Firefighters are on the scene of a major blaze in east Harris County.

The thick column of black smoke can be seen for miles. The fire is burning at a pipe yard on DeZavalla at Market in Channelview. A sign on a building at the scene identifies it as CPS Houston. It's unclear what material is burning, but no injuries have been reported.
