Police say they learned that Jerry Louis had changed his appearance by coloring his hair and shaving off his beard after seeing himself during the news broadcast.
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The man accused of swiping packages from porches in West University is scheduled to appear before a judge today.
Jerry Louis is charged with theft. He was arrested last week just a few days after police released this surveillance video. It shows a man stealing a postal package from a home in West University place.
Louis, 47, is charged with theft. He was on parole until 2044 and has a history of theft, burglary and assault.
