Van collides with city pump truck in SE Houston

  

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- At least 12 people are in the hospital this morning after a van full of children crashed into a city truck.

It happened near Cullen and the South Loop just before 8am in southeast Houston.

The van belongs to a day care called Learning Time Academy, located just three miles away from the site of the accident. Ten children and two adults were taken to hospital after the van suddenly ran off the road and crashed.

None of the children were seriously hurt, but one adult may have a broken leg.
